You will be impressed with the location of this apartment. Located close to the famous ''zaan'' and its famous old factory's alongside the river. Just around the corner is The “Zaanse Schans”. This place has history and style. The apartment leaves nothing to wish for: Freshly decorated and painted and every necessitie to enjoy an comfortable holiday. Interesting city nightlife and sightseeing is just a stone's throw away. This fully solar powered and eco-conscious apartment does deliver! The apartment is located next to the Zaanse Schans (there's an walking route and takes a bout 1.5 hour). The train station is an 10 minutes walk from this apartment and brings you to Amsterdam Central within 15 minutes (and goes till late).
There are many restaurants to enjoy lunch or have an dinner and enjoy fantastic views on the Zaan and it's factories. Many restaurants facilitate dining located at waterside and at walking distance. There's also plenty of nature to enjoy and easily reachable on foot! Just an 15 minutes walk to ''de poel'' and ''t zwet'' and enjoy the view and surrounding of dutch farmland and argiculture. There also many bird's to see for bird for lovers and routes to walk or go with an bike. You can also take the canoe through all the wetlands if you are more the sportive type! You can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool ''the pool zwet'' also located near the beautiful natural area but can also go for the beach. There's Wijk aan Zee (only 20km) and Zandvoort (at 25KM). You can take you're car or use uber and it's only a 20 minutes drive. If you alter you're route there's also the famous Zaanse Schans. You already reach the start of the trail in 15 minutes and have you're own tailored tour. If you prefer to do this with bike we can help you rent these at an store nearby.
