Relax and unwind in a private villa built from 100-150 year old Javanese teak houses with private pool and lush tropical garden. The villa boasts a large kitchen/dining/living area open to the pool and garden areas, and was designed and decorated combining traditional local elements with modern aspects and fittings, and overall inspired by the simplicity of these old homes in their original state. Island people sharing a love for the sea, and a passion for travel, discovering new places, meeting new people and exploring diverse cultures. We came to Gili Air for the first time in 2003 and we fell in love with the place and kept coming back. Eventually we decided to stay and enjoy the simplicity of life here, the tranquility of the island and the unique friendliness of the local Sasak people. Languages: Spanish, English, Indonesian. We meet all of our guests in the harbor in Gili Air and show them to the villa. We provide a map of the island together with recommendations for island activities, and places of interest. We are happy to answer any questions and can assist in arranging trips, excursions, and with bike rentals, snorkel rentals etc

Bohio Villa is 800m North from the harbor, just set back from the main North-South road through the island, and about 300m to the closest beach on the eastern side of Gili Air, popular for its snorkeling. A handful of nearby restaurants offer a variety of dining options within walking distance, or you can get to all parts of the island by bicylce in less than 10-15 minutes.
