We are both avid skiers and MTB'ers and have a wealth of knowledge of the local area. We personally know ski instructors / mountain guides, restauranteurs and fitness / wellbeing experts. The cuisine we freshly prepare in Chalet JJ is selected from locally sourced produce and suppliers of the highest quality. Many of our dishes reflect the local Savoyard fayre. We can cater for special dietary requirements. Chalet JJ is a relaxed and cosy environment where you can chill out after an active day.

Sainte Foy (5 mins), Val D'Isere (25 mins), Tignes (10 mins), Les Arc via Vilaroger (5 mins)' La Rosiere (25 mins) ski over to Italy, La Plagne (35 mins). Chalet JJ is a traditional Savoyard barn in the rustic hamlet of La Thuile. It is situated on the main road between Bourg Sainte Maurice and Val D ' Isere. It is easily accessible from 4 airports : Geneva (2 hr 30 mins), Lyon (2 hr 30 mins), Grenoble (2hr 20 mins), Chambery (1 hr 30 mins)... Or take. The snow train direct from Saint Pancras London to Bourg Saint Maurice. Transfers can be arranged by your hosts. We are open throughout the year to encompass winter sports and summer activities. Chalet JJ can offer catering - in the winter afternoon tea and a sumptious 4 course dinner. In the summer we offer packed lunches and picnics and an evening dinner / BBQ as required. Chalet JJ can arrange ski & Boot hire with our partners at Skiset with preferential rates, ski lessons in groups or individual sessions, mountain guiding and summer MTB hire and more..

La Thuile is an authentic village within the commune of Sainte Foy Tarentaise. Traditional Savoyard buildings make this area unique with its ease of access to many top resorts. Free car parking is available adjacent to the chalet. The free bus to Sainte Foy Tarentaise ski resort is only 200m from the front door and takes just 5 minutes. The bustling market town of Bourg Sainte Maurice is just 15 minutes away. We have great wine bars & restaurants to sample on the chalets chef's night off of which we can help you choose the best for your party.
