Cerro del Pozo is an out of the ordinary place of relaxation, enjoyment and tranquility. Perfect for those who want to empty there mind, detach from daily routine and let there spirit be filled with a truthful sensation of Feeling Good, one that lingers within. It is a magical vacation destination on a remote and self-sufficient ecological finca, that has solar & windmill energy as well as its own water well. Located in the very south of Andalucía and built like an eagle’s nest. It consists, apart from the renovated old farm on a separated level, of 2 studios where the guests reside, located right by a big infinity pool and with direct access to huge terraces and other facilities and services, amongst which are outside kitchen Its luxurious character is most probably provided by the stunning 180 degree views on the Mediterranean sea (also from your bed!) and surrounding mountains, including the Sierra Nevada. Amazing sunsets, sunrises (6 months a year in the water) and an overwhelming starry sky. There are no direct neighbours. It is perfect for those who love privacy and a sense of solitude. Pool is to share if other guests are present (total max.6). The room under the stairs in the Atardecer is very small (no window) but have comfortable beds and iscosy. For those who focus on the outdoor life.

Who am I ? Providence brought me to this “mountain of water”; Cerro del Pozo. Born and raised in Belgium, I spent my professional years as a lawyer and later on I switched to co-running a philosophically inspired travel agency. This gave me the opportunity to travel around the world, for which I am grateful, but I finally set out on a search for a slower life. I realized that sound (silence and music (which spontaneously stripped me of a blockade)) and body awareness (i.e. dance, sensuality, the effect of sun and water) lead to peace and surrender, which in turn grant access to a mysterious wisdom that resides in each and every one of us. All under my current motto: “Kiss” (Keep It Super Simple). My intuition tells me that nature is a great teacher, and Cerro del Pozo is completely immersed in it. Magical place . It is build like an eagles nest in the mountains of the Alpujare Baja, in the very south of Andalucia, with incredible clear and nearby 180degrees sea views (also from your bed) as mountain views, including the Sierra Nevada ! Wild life, plantations of olives, grapes, almonds, amazing sunsets as sunrises (6 months a year in the sea) and an overwhelming starry sky. There are no direct neighbours. It is perfect for those who love privacy and a sense of solitude. If guests have objections driving up the mountain road, the hostess offers free shuttle service from the chuch or picks you up in Adra or airport (fee). The shops are in Adra (30min drive) where you can also find bars, restaurants, beaches and culture. Sports : swimming, walking and mountain bike. Astrology, ornitology and vinology. Excursions in Andalucia : Almeria, Nerja, Granada and Cabo de Gata : all within 1.5h.
