Acoran Family hostal adventure with yoga started about a year ago. The previous year we worked hard to recover this immense 19th century house which had been abandoned for several years. We called it a hostal even though each room is private and with a key because the house is acoustic, being ancient, I must say that we had very respectful guests and this has always helped us maintain silence, however from 10:00 pm onwards we ask for respect and possibly to use the smaller bathroom so as not to disturb the guests in the room adiacent to the large bathroom. Especially if you shower after 10 pm. At 9.30 am there is, included in the price(It is our value add), a yoga practice, it is not obligatory, , but for us it is important that our guests have a Yogui mentality and are respectful of others , of the average environment (especially in water consumption, given that we are on an island) The house has stairs we thought it was obvious, but we reiterate it. So even to go to the kitchen or bathroom, you have to take one or two steps! We have heating for the four or five cold days of the year and this is paid separately because we don't want to load it into the rooms and especially to those who don't use it! it is controlled through an application: we will never argue about money, but we appreciate honest people Don't choose us for the price we would disappoint you (and you would disappoint us) choose us for the atmosphere, the authenticity and the love we put into everything what we do (we are not traders) we arrive at the Town: Firgas, it is a town that in its small way has everything but if you are looking for nightlife and Movida, it is not for you, it is a wonderful place with a heart-stopping view and nature breathtaking, but it is absolutely not a social place, don't make us pay for your choices. We have a dog and three cats in the House! Lastly:The washing machine can be used only for stay of more than a week.
Welcome to our unique hostel experience! We are deeply committed to the essence of the island, particularly its lesser-known and less crowded gems. We're here to guide you on how to truly connect with its soul.
I reside on the upper floor and often open my doors to share delightful dinners and moments with those who are interested. Rest assured, I'm here to assist with any concerns. We don't pursue this endeavor for monetary gain. I embarked on this Airbnb journey 12 years ago, and in those days, guests became an integral part of our extended family. It was akin to having friends visiting, while also respecting our personal spaces, naturally.
In our haven, you won't encounter a "perfect" accommodation; instead, you'll discover a place with character, embodying both virtues and imperfections that contribute to its unique charm. My son Lorenzo and I channel a considerable amount of energy into curating vacations that facilitate reconnection, whether through invigorating yoga sessions for free in the roof top,if doesn't rain, immersive hiking experiences, or more authentic interactions with this volcanic island. This house. This house Is not for basic people, there are house really better for them.
We emphasize that we're not a conventional hotel and have no aspirations to become one. We're individuals on a journey of self-improvement, committed to enhancing your stay every day, and we're always eager to hear your suggestions.
Our ultimate goal is for you to leave enriched by this unique experience, understanding that Acoran is more than just accommodation – it's a welcoming family. Just like all genuine families, any issues or concerns are addressed through heartfelt conversations – the universal language we all understand.
And if you're traveling with pets, we acept them! They are warmly welcomed, and our friendly dog and cats are eager to make their acquaintance.
Welcome to Firgas, where you'll find all the essentials for a comfortable stay, from supermarkets and pharmacies to healthcare centers, restaurants, sweet shops, and lively pubs. This small yet authentic Canarian town is a hidden gem, offering a truly local experience.
Firgas is ideally located just 8 km from the coast and 18 km from the capital city. While there are public buses available, we highly recommend having a car to explore the genuine beauty of the Canary Islands at your own pace.
In the winter, you can expect pleasant daytime temperatures around 20/22 degrees, with slightly cooler nights averaging around 14/16 degrees. It's a good idea to bring a sweater for those cooler evenings. Please note that we do not provide standard heating, but we can offer it as an optional extra, charged based on your actual usage.
If you've come to the Canary Islands seeking intense heat and beach days, Firgas may not be the best fit for you. However, if your aim is to immerse yourself in the true Canarian lifestyle and experience the island's authenticity, there's no better place to be!
If you like hiking barranco de Azuaje Will give you a total diferent image of the Island, with him Green trees ,wáter fall, and nature.Don t loose this walk!
