Rainbow Beach Apts.&Rooms is located on the main road in Calibishie with a 180 degree view of the Atlantic Ocean where the water is so close you can almost touch it. The superior or upstairs apts. have two bedrooms each with queen size beds and a queen size sofa bed. The large balcony is overlooking the ocean, the living room is very spacious, large shower with hot water, vaulted ceiling with a ceiling fan, the kitchen is fully equipped over looking the main road and the front veranda. The ground floor apt. with patio and awnings extends to the sandy area close to the water. It has one spacious bedroom, a very large shower and a well equipped kitchen. Sea turtles sometimes come to lay their eggs in the sandy area, and large whales can sometimes be seen way out in the ocean flapping their fins. The French Islands of Les Saintes, Guadeloupe and Marie galante can be seen across the atlantic. Guests also enjoy the fresh coconut water Supermarkets, Tourist Information center, and the credit union are all within walking distance. Rainbow Restaurant has been rated # I on the Island by TripAdvisor, is located on the property, it is privately owned and independently managed.

Hello, my name is Molly. I was born and raised on this property which I have named Rainbow Beach Apts.&Rooms. The beautiful colors of the Rainbow always mesmerize me. I attended the Calibishie Government school which is still nearby in the same location which brings back enjoyable memories. At a young age i had to travel to Roseau to attend the Convent High School. After graduation i went to Portsmouth to teach at a Convent Primary school. After two years of teaching i realized that was not my calling, so i went back to Roseau and started my nursing career also at a convent which i very much enjoyed. After all my educational training and experiences with convents, i really thought of being a nun but i guess that was not my calling. I got married and have four boys. My Nurse Practitioner experience have really helped me to assist my guests, who complained of minor medical problems, that could not wait till they get back home.I would assess them and call the local doctor which is much faster and better and get them the necessary RX rather than going to the ER. I love showing off my property. my village, my island and love to offer fresh fruits and vegetables when in season.

Calibishie,the third most popular village on the island for visitors after Roseau and Portsmouth. Residents from other towns and villages also love to come to and through Calibishie on weekends and holidays. It is situated on the bay with the only coral reef on the island. Farming and fishing is the main source of income for the residents, lots of fresh fish, bakery goods, fruits and vegetables is available every day. There are three main restaurants serving local and international dishes, there are also roadside snackets. Two main supermarkets are within walking distance and several smaller shops are along the roadside. The picturesque Red Rock which is overlooking the Atlantic is spectacular and it is located right close to the popular chocolate factory. Pointe Baptiste beach is also in the vicinity with waves good for surfing. Batibou is the other popular beach located in a secluded and natural area close to Calibishie , Chaudiere Pool is about two miles away. The Credit Union is the village bank within walking distance, where monetary exchange of mainly USD and EURO into EC is done, credit cards users can also readily access cash. The health center is nearby.
