Old door Hostel is conveniently located by the Taipei main station and in a very walkable part of the city. The room was very comfy and the beds were spacious and cosy. The bathrooms were as clean as you can get and there's a kitchen/common room with fridge, microwave etc. to prepare food if you want. Ximending is only a 10-15min walk from there. Downstairs in the cafe/entrance you can get free breakfast each morning which is chocolate toast and omelette and tea/coffee. Staff were really nice and friendly.

The breakfast and library were good. The bathrooms were wonderful. The room, bed with curtains Nd space around the bed with the towels and cupboard were great. Very kind staff and wonderful entrance area.

So happy for choosing Meander 1948. Perfect location, wonderful staff and modern/cozy design made the stay very convenient and comfortable.

This is how you wish a hostel inside a big city to be: Modern Clean Well designed Comfortable I loved the comfortable beds which are super silent and the real bedding like in a hotel. Mattresses also really good. I've stayed in several hostels in Taipei and this one is by far the best. Others are designed to squeeze out as much money as possible from travelers and I fell like this one is the opposite: they really want you to have an awesome stay ! Highly recommend !

Perfect for our brief stopover in the city. Great location, close to metro, friendly staff, comfy bed and amazing shower. Would definitely recommend!
