This hotel offers budget accommodation on the Arctic Ocean island of Svalbard. Communal facilities include a kitchen and TV lounge. Snowmobile safaris, dog sledding and glacier walks can be arranged. There may be no better place for people who are passionate about outdoor sports. It is located in Nybyen. Generally it is just next to the glacier Larsbreen, where many of the hiking tours start. But also within half an hour of walking distance (2-3km) you are in the town centre. The personal here is totally friendly and helpful, not to mention that they are 24x7 reachable. The rooms are clean. Honestly, I am always suspecious about shared toilets in hotels, but sofar I have seen they are held unsoiled and neat. It impresses me, although I booked a room with own toillet. The restaurant and bar of this hotel is also highly recommendable. They offer delicious meals and the personal obviously have a pretty good musical taste.
