A 27-km coastline of white sand, a beautiful dune landscape and picturesque villages – this is Ameland in a nutshell. Free Wi-Fi is available at Sier aan Zee. Location was excellent! 5 minutes walk to the beach and in the other direction 5 minutes walk to the forest. Kids loved feeding the ducks at the nearby nursery. Island itself is lovely and distances between villages are easily manageable by bike.

Ubytovanie Surfana Beach camping hostel Bed & Breakfast Vlieland sa nachádza na pláži v destinácii Vlieland 4 min. chôdze a hosťom ponúka rôzne služby a vybavenie. We stayed 11 people in the bunk bed cabin and were very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpfull. They organised a bbq dinner that was included and had loads of table games, games to bring to the beach and surf/sup gear. Would come back again. Also, it is directly at the beach and there was a service to get our bags from the ferry to the surf camp, so we didn't have to carry them!

This friendly hostel basic accommodation and is situated in the heart of the lively village of Grou and surrounded by the Frisian lakes. Very friendly staff and exceptional good rooms and breakfast for a simple "Herberg". The man at the check in was so nice, he even offered us a second room with no extra charge!
