Offering a terrace and views of the rice fields, d'Jarwo House is situated in Batukaras. Guests can relax on the beach and find small local eateries in the surrounding areas. Very peaceful and quiet place I was looking for. Close to the beach and surrounded by rice fields and palms. Always clean and even with breakfast included. I like the quiet village too.

Super friendly staff, very helpful and flexible. Helped me with every question I had, also let me store my bag in the hotel before taking the train. The rooms were the right temperature and quiet. The hostel had different wifi spots which worked very well. The location was perfect, in walking distance from the train station and there is an Indomaret around the corner. On the other corner is a great street restaurant that provides vegetarian dishes as well (below the Rijsttafel sign).

Exceeded my expectations! Super comfortable pods + great facilities for the price. Areas were clean and I always felt at ease when I was in the hotel. Do recommend to take the ground pods as it is was quite a climb each time going up to the upper pods - also, worth an upgrade to the larger pod even as a single traveller! Much more spacious:)

The staff was very friendly and communication was super easy. They helped to assess what way would be best for my climb. The facilities are basic (European perspective) but as expected and perfect for what I needed.
