Set within 2.9 km of Filipino Market Sabah and 2.3 km of Oceanus Waterfront Mall, Faloe Hostel offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Kota Kinabalu. I’ve been traveling for sometime, lived in different hostels and this is so far the best hostel I’ve ever been! It feels so homey with the kitchen, living room and dining tables, and place us quite accessible to everything (close to a nice mall.) Perfect for those who are into “chilling” an connect with people rather than immersing to crowd. It’s veryyyy cleannnnn too! Its well maintained by the owners. Squeaky clean! 💗 The most wonderful part of this stay is the people, especially the staff. Warm, helpful and nice. I will come back in KK for sure :)

This place EXCEEDED my expectations! Staff was so helpful with planning literally everything. Location was perfect - right on the water. Rooms were cozy and it felt like home.

It is a basic accommodation with a private room and shared bathrooms. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The location is very central.

Located just in the city centre. House-own bar with special deals. Kitchen for use. Capsules provide lots of privacy.

Breakfast was amazing, and different everyday (noodles and toasts on day 1, rice, pancakes ❤️, and toasts on day 2) Bed was comfy with privacy curtains, a light and an outlet, AC was working well, there is space to hang your towel and clothes, and the room was big Nice common area (though a bit small maybe, but you do what you can with the space you have) Toilets were separate from the showers (rare in Asia, so that was really nice!) The owner was super nice, friendly and helpful! I missed my bus so I arrived a day later and I was able to change the days of my booking even though it was non refundable, so thank you so much for that!!
