YHA Liverpool Albert Dock is a modern, 4-star hostel set in the heart of the city, next to the Albert Dock and 10 minutes’ walk from vibrant nightlife. The Cavern Club, where the Beatles were discovered, is less than a mile away. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk to Albert Dock and all the attractions at the waterfront. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen and the dining area is clean as well. There are ample free parking as well.

All rooms are fully accessible and contain bunk beds and en-suite shower rooms. Each multi-bed room contains individual guest lockers and adjustable heating. For guests that require more privacy, female-only rooms and double rooms with street views are also available. Didn't have breakfast there. Fantastic staff, facilities, 6-dorm room (with an adjacent sitting-room!). Nice attached bar & restaurant. Clean, fully functional and maintained building & facilities. Some people mind the high street sound volume at evenings or into the early night (perhaps 01 am), but I didn't mind at all - just adds to the legendary Matthew Street & The Cavern Club heritage factor.

The Embassie is a 200 years old, vintage mansion and the first hostel in Liverpool. Located in the Georgian Quarter, the property is a 12 minutes walk from the city center. It features a 24-hour desk, free WiFi, free breakfast, shared kitchen, TV communal area and dining room. Free parking is available upon request. I like absolutely everything about this hostel. The atmosphere, people there, the owner. I would stay longer if I could, sadly I had to leave Liverpool. Had the best time, met the loveliest people, had brilliant talk with Kev and his family, slept on the comfiest bed and enjoyed is very much. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you very much.
