Really friendly family that owns the place, excellent communal kitchen with loads of space and utensils, big common room with tv/pool table/eating tables etc. Good location with access to loads of walks around Snowdonia.

Lodge Dinorwig asub ümberehitatud koolimajas Dinorwigis, 8 km kaugusel Snowdonist. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Incredibly comfortable sleeping pods with privacy curtain, wider than normal mattresses, two pillows, and charging outlets. Staff was super friendly and helpful to provide suggestions on how to get to town or where to hike for the day. Breakfast and dinner(for a reasonable 10£) were delicious, just the right serving sizes for fueling a day outdoors. Common area is great to chill in after a long day and play board games with fellow guests. This is one of those places that you want to tell everyone how amazing it is, but at the same time don’t want to in order to make sure it’s not booked out when you want to go back, and you will want to go back again. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect hostel.

We were already excited by the drive up through the beautiful wooded valley. When we arrived we were overwhelmed with the beauty and tranquility of the location. The property was so clean and comfortable and big enough to accommodate us all very easily. We were fortunate enough to have lots of sunshine so we enjoyed walks, a BBQ and a fire. We had plenty of shared meals in the big dining room.

Placed at the foot of Snowdon Mountain, the YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass is surrounded by stunning Welsh landscape in a rural location, with no mobile phone signal - offering guests a break from technology.... super cute place and literally right at the beginning of the trail to hike snowdon! nice restaurant and felt cozy like a cabin!
