Selina Magnetic Island showcases open-air building designs and communal spaces for guests. Loved Selina, loved the cafe / bar common area, loved the dorm lodges which had a toilet and shower. Comfiest and nicest hostel I've stayed at for a while! A nice treat, great location too with beautiful sunsets and food/ drink/ hike options from Horseshoe Bay, plus regular bus available from right outside the Hostel. Also did candlelight yoga and a morning yoga session which I loved - other activities available too like pool tournaments, games etc. Would recommend staying here!

Featuring free WiFi, a year-round swimming pool and a barbecue, CStay is located on Magnetic Island in Picnic Bay, 9 km from Townsville. Rooms come with a shared bathroom. The room was clean, good air conditioner, good bbq and swimming pool area. The manager is very kind and he gave us good information about the area and tourist points.

Nomads Magnetic Island hostel is situated on the beach of Magnetic Island, only 20-minutes by ferry from Townsville. This is a very beautiful hostel, the location of the bar is almost perfect, facing the beach and the sea, it is very appropriate to drink beer in the evening with the sea breeze, I think this is probably the most beautiful place to stay on the island.
