Made is an amazing host! He picked me up and dropped me off at the harbor upon request and rented me my first scooter, which helped me build confidence to drive on Penida! He also offered daily light breakfast of coffee/tea and toast with a packaged strawberry jam. Loved that he had water refill. I was the only guest on my second night at the hostel, and he was always looking out for me. Room was spotlessly clean, towel provided, cold shower, and a very comfortable bed. AC functioned well enough to cool the room when you slept, but once the sun was on the room it warmed up quickly, a great place for those who rise before 9am! Decent restaurants within walking distance, and Made was kind to offer me a ride wherever I needed on my first night.

I loved everything about this hostel! Great location, nice and quiet, beautiful scenery, awesome excursions to book through the hostel, the staff went above and beyond for all their guests and helped me so much, i can’t thank them enough. Their ability to create a calm yet social environment was awesome, i give them so much credit for all the hard work they do with a great attitude. Like nothing else i’ve ever experienced. I cant wait to be back!

Staff cleaned the rooms daily and were very accommodating. HUGE breakfast in the morning. Two pools big enough to actually swim lengths. Lots of spaces to socialise or relax by yourself. 20% discount in their restaurant which has gorgeous views and great food!
