Really nice experience in Hostel Vista Verde! I only stayed 1 night but would’ve loved staying more nights there! I needed a room with 2 beds. The unit that was given to me included 2 queen size beds, with its pillows, sheets, and a covering against mosquitos (but it was not needed! The unit was clean and cozy, and the price was really good! The staff was amazing, Julia the owner was really nice, Steffany the cook, prepared a delicious dinner, and all the staff was nice, even Jualia’s son was quite adorable and has my name “Alvaro”. The hostel is around 45 min away from town, and you gotta climb a lot of hills, but it is worth the experience. In general I’d recommend this hotel!

I was in doubt when I found out how far from Minca this location is (from Minca bus terminal 45min by moto) but it was one of the best decisions and favorite stays in Colombia! Staff was very kind (Doris and two girls on their workaway, thank you for everything!), I was lucky enough that on the 1th night I was the only one in the dorm (which btw offers amazing view over Sierra Nevada!), food was really good, place is quite,... so make sure you will come for more than one night :)

Man må booke middagsalternativ på forhånd, men så lenge man er på hostellet til riktig tid er det ikke et stort problem. Plasseringen er veldig kul, oppe i jungelen. Det gjør at man må ta motorbike for å komme dit og ikke har andre restauranter eller butikker i nærheten, men det er fin utsikt fra hostellet og mange stedet å ligge og slappe av. Bassenget var godt oppvarmet og rent.
