Tarouca'da, Our Lady of Remedies Tapınağı'na 13 km ve Douro Müzesi'ne 22 km mesafede yer alan Quinta do Lameiro, bahçe ve klima sunmaktadır. This was my second time at Quinta do Lameiro, so I already knew what to expect. However, the last time there was no pool in the Bungalows area. Now that there is, it's an advantage. Two pools with different depths. Terrific addition!

Pousadela Village provides a sauna and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Vieira do Minho, 6.8 km from Canicada Lake. With lake views, this accommodation features a patio. People are very nice and helpful. We arrived in the middle of the night (around 03:45) due to flight trouble and they left us instructions for pick-up of keys. We really appreciated the offered solutions. Thanks Ernani. Our luggage arrived 2 days later and they received them on our absence. Perfect! There are around 10 or 12 small bungalows, arranged internally like apartments, with terraces and outrageous views over the valley. There are modern kitchen equipment, with induction hearth, stove, dish washer and also some pans. If you are a cook you will miss some pans and additional equipment like mixers, but for usual cooking it is sufficient. There is a heated internal pool, very nice as we stayed 5 days in autumn and had a lot of rain, wind and low temperatures. Head caps are required and can be bought on reception for 4 € each. We had our breakfast included. During the days where there were enough guests, rich and varied options were available. As people got reduced, they asked us at night before to choose food from a menu. No desperdice. Perfect! We didn't eat at restaurant, but it smelled very well during the initial days and they offer some nice combinations at a relatively high price level (this seems to be inherent to the region), but we are not really enabled to evaluate this point. Rooms were clean on arrival. In bathroom there is a heating device which allows hanging and drying of bath towels. Very nice as this small detail is often neglected at hotels. As the bungalows are placed on a steep hill, it is adequate more for a bit sporty people. Access by road is also steep but asphalted and reachable by standard vehicles. We are planning to return to Peneda-Gerês (under better weather conditions) and would certainly consider to stay at Pousadela again.

Vila Nova de Gaia'da yer alan Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & Spa, merkeze 20 km, Porto'nun merkezine ise arabayla 25 dakika uzaklıktadır. Everyone at Quinta do Pedregal was lovely, kind, and approachable. They made my stay! It's wonderful to stay in such close contact with nature, a mere 30 minutes away from the centre of Porto. I would also highlight the food and service at the restaurant, the ebikes available for rental and the SPA. I'll definitely be back!

Perfectly quite for its location near the city. Cozy fireplace for the cooler nights which set the ambience for a glass of wine...or two or three. The large covered patio w/table and loungers sheltered us on the rainy days. The plush and comfortable bed ensured us no shortage of sleep. The unit had all the necessary kitchen utensils for us prepare our own meals. Perfect for longer stays!!
