One of the original stone houses in Portes this accommodation was full of character and was located just metres from the town centre and numerous restaurants, bars and shops. It was beautifully decorated, well equipped, and was perfectly located as a base to explore the surrounding area. The check-in process was straightforward, and the host was extremely helpful prior to check-in and also during our stay.

The location is perfect, right in between a nice bar and the best restaurant in town. The host was super friendly and helpful. The place itself was extremely charming

Beautiful house finished to a high standard. Made for relaxation! Very clean. Lovely views. Covered outdoor seating area. 10 minutes walk from the town (albeit steep). Badminton, table tennis and darts fun, plus treadmill and stationary bike.

Location is perfect, a short walk to the town with views that are breathtaking. We were blessed with great weather and we’re able to enjoy walking around the area , and a trip to Fuente De and the Picos de Europa . The house accommodated our group of 8 and was very clean .

The location was amazing, the house and all the facilities were spot on. There was excellent safe parking for our motorcycles. The figs from the fig tree were beautiful.

Everything about our stay was perfect, from the moment we arrived. The owners were so friendly and helpful, they even picked us up from the town and took us to the house. I had lost my purse on the bus from Santander and the owner went above and beyond to contact the bus company for me and we eventually found it! The house itself was gorgeous with surrounding views of Los Picos. It was like we were living in a dream. Amazing value for money. We came using public transport and it was easy enough to get to. The walk from Potes is about 15-20 minutes, but just be aware it's uphill and quite steep, so quite tiring if you are going back and forth. We didn't mind because we enjoy a hike but a taxi is always an option if needed. Overall, this place was incredible. If we ever visit Potes again we will definitely return to Casa Mieses.
