The host was completely fluent in English and Portuguese, and answered lots of questions about the town and surrounding area. The room was large and quiet, with a large spotless bath. Breakfast was a nice selection of fresh foods.

Quinta do Quinto features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Porto da Carne. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Great breakfast, great facilities! We had a fantastic time!

Located in the centre of Manteigas, Casa D’Avenida is a newly renovated family house, sited within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The warmest welcome possible, delicious cakes, coffee and breakfast. Room was very clean and comfortable!

Located in the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela, this 19th century building of granite stone offers traditional rooms with balconies. Very quiet, pretty little village with wonderful views. The house was comfortable and well equipped, breakfast (and dinner at their restaurant) was excellent. The best of all is that the houses are run by a very professional, kind team that run the extra mile to make ou feel at home. we had a wonderful time and would happily return in the Summer to try out that pool with the views!

Very clean and not dated, kitchen was really cute and had everything we needed and all clean. Very rustic but not old/smelly/dated decoration, everything felt comfortable. Totally recommend it! Owner is super helpful and kind
