What an amazing place and warm, wonderful hosts Paolo and Carla make you feel like old friends. Beware, booking.com's directions take you to the wrong house. Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.

I stayed in many places. I have never met expensive coffee machines, sound bars with subwoofers, and collectible vintage radios for guests. All kitchenware matches by color. Complimentary cake, fruits and Porto vine are offered. Places and where to eat recommendations are printed. The host is amazing. Everything is made with love.

Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, í um 1,3 km fjarlægð frá Douro-safninu. Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Zimão Garden House er staðsett í Vila Real, 30 km frá Natur Waterpark, 31 km frá Golf Course Vidago Palace og 43 km frá Douro Museum. Quiet place with great confort in a fully renovated house. Small details in the decoration made it unique and unforgettable, the host was very helpful and her two cats really made the end of my trip worthwhile.

The room was big enough, with beautiful bathroom and also bathtub in the room. The bed was very comfortable and again with a fantastic view. There is also a little terrace where you can just sit and sip your glass of wine while enjoying the view of the mountains. Every morning we had a fantastic breakfast with everything you can think of (sweet pastry and cakes, eggs, cheese, hams, fruit, yougurts, bread....). Bruno, the host, is very nice and very helpful. He also recommended us places around which we could visit. We would definitely recommend this accomodation and would love to come back again.

Teresa and Miguel are the best hosts one could expect. The room was roomy and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the location of the house was perfect to explore the region in the best way. We will will surely come back.
