Close to a bus terminal, so there were no problems (e.g. to get to the national park) with public transport either.

Forest of Color Pension ตั้งอยู่ในฮองชอนของภูมิภาคคังวอนโดและสามารถไปลอร์ดฮิลล์สกอลฟ์แอนด์รีสอร์ท ซึ่งห่างกันไม่เกิน 10 กม. It’s a truly amazing place - very calm, between mountains and a river. The owners are fantastic - they care about everything and help with all queries. Everything was prepared beforehand for us. The apartment is very spacious, with lots of additional futons if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are lots of useful utensils for babies/children. The heating worked very well. The owner speaks English and gives tips for surroundings. Our appartement had its own barbecue booth and the owner prepared charcoal so we had a wonderful dinner. There is an indoor playground, trampoline, two wooden swings, bikes and toys for children. I can imagine the place is also gorgeous during the summer time - with a swimming pool and a very nice outdoor. Definitely recommend this to anyone searching for little country side in Korea.

Dal Garam Guesthouse ตั้งอยู่ในคังนึง ห่างจากสนามกีฬา Pyeongchang Olympic Plaza 35 กม. The host was super kind! They compiled a booklet with useful knowledge and compiled a list of restaurants and dishes to try in the area. Very clean and pretty house. Bonus: Freshly brewed coffee.

Sisilli Pension อยู่ห่างจากสนามกีฬา Pyeongchang Olympic Plaza 24 กม. The host upgrade our room to the bigger room without additional charges. And the host provide the winter snow sled for us to play. The location is really suitable for the sledding activities, and my kids enjoys so much. Whenever they feel cold, they can get back to the room immediately and being warm up. After that, they can come out to play again. How I wish i book this place for 2 nights. 1 night is really not enough. A big thumbs up to the Host.

Soop And Soop Pension is set in Pyeongchang , 5 km from Seonjaryeong. Alpensia Resort is 8 km away. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Mr Kim and his family are very helpful. He will arrange the ski and snowboard coaches and equipment for us. His house is near to town and the taxi ride from town to his house is about 8000 won.

The pension is a delightful European-style chalet in a beautiful valley of Korean mountains. The setting is remote and requires a taxi to get there but it is well worth the effort. The owners are very warm and welcoming and offer exceptional hospitality.
