This was one of our favourite accommodations on our trip! We stayed here as a buffer day between traveling between Ishikawa and Naoshima but we wish we could have spent longer - lots of privacy, in a great area, and the staff were so helpful and friendly, they really went over and beyond helping us to plan our following days in Naoshima. The guesthouse was cosy and had everything you could think to need!

200 metres from Rian Bunko Art Museum, Lino下伊福 is a recently renovated property located in Okayama and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It is a large accomodation for Japanese standards. It is located within a residential district where you do not come across other tourists. There is a very good sushi restaurant only 5-8 min from the accomodation.

The whole place is spacious and the host provides delicious dinner for you, the location is a bit far away from city centre and major attractions but if you are driving then it will not be a problem

In the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter district of Kurashiki, close to Shinkeien Garden, 滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado has free WiFi and a washing machine. The room is huge and very comfortable! It looks a bit dark on the photos, but it's so much better then that! It's right in the center of the old village, but you won't hear anything from the outside really. The seating area is really nice and we loved the provided breakfast. The kitchen is beautiful and convenient as well. The bathroom is really spacious.

Temari Inn Yukikai ligger i Kurashiki, 300 m fra Shinkeien Garden og 8,4 km fra Tanematsuyama Park. Der tilbydes rummelige værelser med aircondition, terrasse og gratis wi-fi. Everything was fantastic! The staff was very welcoming and kind to us. The accomodation is beautiful, cosy and very comfortable! This is a typical ancient Japanese house. Perfect to stay to discover the lovely city of Kurashiki and the surroundings. The train station is only 10 mins walks.

Situated within 200 metres of Tanukian Bunko Art Museum and 600 metres of Houkancho Shopping Street, ゲストハウス MEETS 岡山 offers rooms in Okayama. Very nice and helpful host. The place was great, the room was spacious and pleasant. It had a Japanese ambiance and was comfortable. There were toiletries available for use (towels were not included) and you could use the washing machine. There also were an airconditioner, a hairdryer and earplugs available for use. Perfect for a calm and peaceful stay. I'd definitely go here again!

Set within 1.1 km of Hourseshoe Crab Museum and 4.3 km of Kasaoka Sun Plaza, オーベルジュ美の浜 流石 provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kasaoka. This little hotel which I mainly booked to break up our driving journey between destinations turned out to be a little gem. It was quaint clean and had a beautiful traditional Japanese garden outlook from our room and the best dinner we had in Japan. The food was top notch and so delicious it melted in your mouth. Definitely book the meal option 😊

Okayama Hostel Igusa ligger i naturskønne omgivelser og er et traditionelt 50 år gammelt hjem i japansk stil, som er blevet renoveret til et pensionat. The host was so kind! The house and the garden was gorgeous
