In the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, close to Yukemori Observatory, OMOLOSO Hostel オモロソウ ホステル features a garden and a washing machine. The room was aaaaamazing! Wish I could stay longer just to count all the cards! ✨😌✨ Luckily I was able to buy some from the host, great souvenir 🫠 The location was incredible, you get views of Beppu, sea, mountains - day and night! If you book a solo room you get this from your balcony and if not then there is a little observatory point just a short walk up the hill ✨😌✨It is a short (and scenic) walk away from some great onsens, food places, shops & the hells 🤘 Facilities... It was my second week of travelling and at Omoloso my first night was the first night of good sleep I got! So comfy with a cricket orchestra in the background! The second night was one of best nights sleep I've had, period, after an onsen trip 😴 Omoloso was so far by far the highlight, I could finally relax!!! 💓 I wish I booked more time in Beppu and Omoloso! ✨ The hosts were so helpful and inviting from the moment I set foot on the property to the moment I got waved bye driving away in the taxi they helped me book! Thank you!!!

Dotato di un salone in comune, lo Yufuin Sunday si trova a Yufu, nella regione di Oita, a 2,4 km dal Museo Motociclistico Yufuin e a 2,9 km dal Lago Kinrinko. We love everything about this place! The hospitality of the owner, the tatami room, the mountain view from the room, the private onsen, and the breakfast! We got 1 foot massager chair in our room which very helpful to ease my mother in law feet soreness after long walk. The owner offers free pickup back and forth from Yufuin station which is really helpful too. The room itself is very spacious and the futon is super comfortable that we rested well. We ordered breakfast from the owner and it tasted super delicious even though it was a simple Japanese style bento. We really enjoyed and had a great stay at Yufuin Sunday. Totally recommended for people who want to stay out from the crowd, but with ryokan feeling (sleep in tatami room and dip into onsen). Thank you so much!!

Situated in Beppu in the Oita region, with Beppu Station and Beppu Art Museum nearby, 森のカフェ features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Great location about seven minutes from Beppu Station. Also hostess is very sweet. AC worked. And facilities were clean. There’s also a washing machine tho I didn’t use it since it was my first day of traveling. Very large apt which was more than I needed. But price was excellent.

Fortunatamente abbiamo avuto la casa tutta per noi e quindi molto spazio internamente e anche un piccolo dehor. Molto comoda al centro. Il proprietario gentilissimo ci ha dato un sacco di informazioni.

The accommodation was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were excellent. There were shops and restaurants a short walk away. The most impressive for me however, was the host Ken, and his wife. They were very kind and friendly, and more than willing to help with any local information I needed. He gave recommendations for restaurants and for sightseeing in the beautiful town of Kitsuki. Ken went out of his way to help me when my travel plans went awry due to some serious weather conditions - thanks again for your kindness. I would highly recommend Guesthouse Return for anyone staying in the area.
