They are very detail oriented and have every amenity you might need. Friendly and helpful- they made dinner reservations for us. The breakfast was excellent!

Hoshikuzu, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Naoshima, 500 metres from Naoshima Pavillion, 500 metres from Naoshima Christ Church, as well as 2 km from Gokaisho Art House Project. This was the most outstanding property we stayed at while in Japan for 3 weeks. It was authentic, the beds were so comfortable, the house was spotless, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We will return again and stay longer.

Guest House Wakabaya is situated in Takamatsu, a 5-minute walk away from Hanazono Station of the Kotoden Nagao Line. The Kotoden Nagao Line can be accessed from Takamatsu-Chikko Station. We had the best experience possible of checking in quite late after a long day and with a busy schedule ahead of us. Takeshi is very welcoming and in perfect English helped us out with our itinerary on visiting Naoshima & Teshima as well as providing tips for other must-see places in the area (as we were there to visit some architectural highlights), with some really cool less touristy options that are not often mentioned in other guidebooks. All in all a very relaxing experience even though we had a full itinerary during our travel through Japan!

Situated in Naoshima in the Kagawa region, with Hachiman Shrine and Ando Museum nearby, Yellow House features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. A wonderful one bedroom apartment located right next to the bus stop! We loved the location, being that is was off the tourist track. The apartment was in a small fishing village and yet it was still walking distance (1km) to the small town and (1km in the other direction) to the main art installation area. The apartment has one bedroom, a living room and a kitchen. It came with a sweet basket of breakfast foods as well.

Located in Takamatsu, 500 metres from Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum and less than 1 km from Yakurishion Christ Church, 高松市一軒家貸切プライベートハウスotonarisan-駐車場無料 offers a garden and air conditioning. Beautiful, comfortable home which was a very short walk to Noguchi Museum in the nicest neighborhood. Close to a ton of great restaurants but very quiet and peaceful. We wished we lived here!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, 一棟貸切宿 空と家 本棟 is situated in Tadotsu. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Wonderful revival of the old bath house as a cafe and the former owner's residence as a guesthouse in the historical street of Tadotsu. We enjoyed the stylish place and the new onsen-style bathroom with a ceramic tub. Comfortable beds and complete privacy at the guesthouse.

Set 3 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, Aoisora Aoiumi no guest house - Vacation STAY 75101v offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The place was really clean, and had everything that we could need all laid out for us when we arrived. The owners are the most wonderful people you'll ever meet, a kind older couple who live across the street from the building and speak perfect English. We often chatted and they let us use the bikes as often as we wanted. They will happily answer any question and sent us information in advance about how to access the hotel from Takamatsu station.. The room is really lovely, with a cool tatami room and kitchen, and traditional futon beds. The location is really peaceful and easy to access public transport. Just bear in mind that there is no lift, but the building is only 3 floors so it's only minimal stairs. All in all, I highly recommend this place, you will absolutely not regret it!

Situated in Takamatsu in the Kagawa region, Aoisora Aoiumi no guest house - Vacation STAY 74840v features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The hosts lived on site, very professional, and still very easy to approach with questions or concerns. They provided handmade guidebooks (in Japanese and English) for the neighborhood and also the general Takamatsu/Kagawa area. You can tell that they are comfortable hosting international visitors. The apartment was spotless and a great place to stay for multiple nights. Our room was a good size for two people. Three might've been a squeeze if staying for more than one night. 24-hour grocery store within walking distance was a plus. Parking is available on site as well. The hosts also offer free use of bicycles or umbrellas, if needed. Just ask! Also, the AC unit was so quiet that we didn't notice it was running; that was mindblowing. =)
