We stayed for just one night but we felt very welcome and we wanted to stay longer. Even if the location wasn’t so central we were kindly picked up and dropped off at the train station. They even helped us having an early breakfast to catch our early train. As vegetarians we put the hosts in a bit of a pickle, but they gave us a delicious breakfast nonetheless ;) We definitely would like to come back 😄

I like the guesthouse is surrounded by the nature, the closest train station is Asamushi station, it’s about 5-6 stops away from Aomori station. The guesthouse owner Taku can offer pick-up/drop-off at Asamushi station. BTW, Asamushi is famous for onsen(hot spring). Since the house is in the middle of nature so there’s no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, but you can purchase dinner and breakfast, Taku’s wife, Kaori, makes very delicious and healthy food, must try it!

Go there for the cherry blossom festival - it was great for us.

Terletak di Hirosaki, dalam 36km dari Tapak Sannai-Maruyama dan 15-minit berjalan kaki dari Istana Hirosaki, オランドの二階 mempunyai penginapan dengan bar dan WiFi percuma di seluruh tempat penginapan serta... new designed guesthouse in hirosaki. we had 2 private rooms with tatami floor (actually its a thin rice paper door that seperate the rooms and can be opened to 1 big room). everything is brand new. the room is big enough and has very convenient matresses on the floor. they also suplly towels. the comunal showers are right in front of the room, so its very convenient. the rooms are on the second floor, above the coffee/bar on the 1sr floor. you go by stairs to the second floor and take off your shoes. the are also dormitory beds on that floor. the city itself was very welcoming and nice. we had a very good experince and definitly come back again.

Situated just a 3-minute walk to picturesque Lake Towada, Towadako Backpackers offers friendly accommodation with free property-wide Wi-Fi. A fully-equipped kitchen and a karaoke room are available. This place has a lot of character and very comfortable and cozy. The dining area is overall a great place to unwind, watch a little tv. Dinner was wonderful and breakfast was good. There’s an onsen hotel a couple minutes walk from the guesthouse where for 500 yen you can try the indoor and outdoor onsen. This is a backpackers guesthouse and for what it is, I had a great experience
