The facilities and location of the guesthouse are great. I am a solo traveller and did many tours from Reykjavik, most tours do offer pick-ups and drop-offs at bus stop 8 which is a 3 minute walk from the guesthouse. The kitchen is fully equipped: lots of tea flavours, oven, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. The bathroom is really clean. The beds are very comfortable! The owners are super friendly. It is a family owned guesthouse, and you can really see that they enjoy what they’re doing. Would definitely go here again!!

To give you an idea: - Yogurt parfaits 🫐 - Fruit 🍎 - Freshly baked bread and rolls 🍞 - An assortment of Cold meats - A selection of only the best Cheeses 🧀 - Baked goodies 🤩 - Omg, the list goes on and on… Áslaug is always available via the app, and really accommodated our wishes! The host Sigga was super helpful. A beautiful spot with plenty of space for our large group. The kitchen was perfect for preparing breakfast. We liked seeing the farm animals.

Dísa was so welcoming, when I arrived she took out a map and showed me all of her favourite spots to go to and how to use the bus system. Speaking of the bus, it couldn’t be more convenient drops you right outside the house! The room was spotless and had blackout blinds which are essential for the Icelandic summers!

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking... It was a perfect location and house! His host was super friendly and very helpful. Also liked how extremely clean the house is.

Situated in Reykjavik’s old city centre, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings. The location can not be beaten, overlooking Reykjavik cathedral from the window of my room. The best was that in spite of being so centrally located, the room was quiet and comfortable. I appreciated a lot the well and fully equipped kitchens available for guests. This definitely helped to cut on the costs by staying away from the restaurants.
