Check in was flawless, room is spacious and beautiful, clean and comfortable. There is a well equipped kitchen with free smoothies for all the guests. They also have free bicycles for guests to use. Free parking along the street.

To give you an idea: - Yogurt parfaits 🫐 - Fruit 🍎 - Freshly baked bread and rolls 🍞 - An assortment of Cold meats - A selection of only the best Cheeses 🧀 - Baked goodies 🤩 - Omg, the list goes on and on… Áslaug is always available via the app, and really accommodated our wishes! Dísa was so welcoming, when I arrived she took out a map and showed me all of her favourite spots to go to and how to use the bus system. Speaking of the bus, it couldn’t be more convenient drops you right outside the house! The room was spotless and had blackout blinds which are essential for the Icelandic summers!

The rooms are very nice, clean and cosy. However, what makes this place so special is the location - it's a quiet place, off the beaten track, right by the water. I hope to revisit it someday and use the hot tub:)

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking... Lokalizacja znajduje sie w samym centrum Rejkiaviku. Gospodarz jest bardzo miły i pomocny. W obiekcie znajduje sie w pełni wyposażona kuchnia i wszystko czego potrzebujesz, nawet było dostępne małe śniadanie. Byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni i polecamy to miejsce.

The location can not be beaten, overlooking Reykjavik cathedral from the window of my room. The best was that in spite of being so centrally located, the room was quiet and comfortable. I appreciated a lot the well and fully equipped kitchens available for guests. This definitely helped to cut on the costs by staying away from the restaurants.

Set in a building dating back to 1916, this Reykjavík guest house is within 5 minutes’ walk of the popular Laugavegur shopping street. Both WiFi and private, on-site parking are free. The location was brilliant, very close to the town centre, which made it easy to explore the local area :)
