The kitchen is well equipped. The host is very welcoming and happy to chat about things to see / do in the area (if you speak French, otherwise you may need some help from Google translate). And the location, while far from Sion, is close to some good hiking trails along the Bisse d'Ayant or Clavau. For the price, this place is a deal.

Chambre d'hôte Valère is set in Sion, 22 km from Crans-sur-Sierre. This pet-friendly guest house also has free WiFi. location and parking availability is great, host is very accomodating, friendly and supportive. clean and comfortable.

The family-run Pension de la Poste was renovated in summer 2017 and is located in quiet surroundings in the Valais village of Zinal, 200 metres from the Sorebois Ski Lift, and offers you Swiss... Of all the places we stayed in Switzerland this had the best value -- stayed two nights here, great service, great food, great central location right in the middle of Zinal, easy check in, nothing bad to say about the place. Also helped us out a great deal with laundry service. Would stay here again no question do NOT miss the side trip to Grimentz up the valley.

Individually furnished in the style of a different artist, such as Van Gogh or Picasso, all accommodation at Artist Apartments & Hotel Garni features a flat-screen cable TV and balcony. Great little hotel, the owner is very friendly which makes the atmosphere in the hotel very homely. The room was comfortable, well equipped, balcony with a nice view, and good breakfast. I also liked the concept of each room being dedicated to a different artist. Would definitely stay here again.

Peacefully situated, the 3-star-superior Hotel Bettmerhof in Bettmeralp at 1957 metres above sea level offers panoramic Matterhorn views and free WiFi. The best breakfast ever! Facilities are perfect and staff could not have been more helpful.
