Gorgeous interior and extremely perfect location, just next to the penguine spotting point. We arrived late and had a super smooth checkin. Since the town stores were already closed it was even more pleasant to be able to choose from the amazing variety of local beverages that were setup in the room.

There was nothing forgotten in this cottage that you wouldn't have at home, even fresh eggs for breakfast and the pantry was well stocked. I will be recommending to all my friends and we cannot wait to go back again.

Just 7 minutes' walk from Hobart CBD (Central Business District), Astor Private Hotel offers rooms with antique furniture and access to free WiFi. It was nice to stay here Astor Hotel. The atmosphere is incredible, and the staff are so friendly.

The room is compact but perfectly adequate for two people. The winners here were the extra, thoughtful little touches that set this accommodation apart from most we have stayed in. Equally, no bargain priced appliances or fittings were to be found, only good quality throughout. Scrupulously clean and tidy, Just two minutes walk to the main street, it would be hard to find fault with Richmond Barracks (We were in "The Cellar" room - lovely!).

Well equipped cottage in a beautiful area with an enormous view. Even for colder nights enough facilities to get it warm in the cottage. We also enjoyed the more than one hour long onsite walks.

Guests at Explorers Lodge have access to a cosy guest lounge with fireplace, a sun room, sun deck and landscaped gardens to explore. Free WiFi is provided. Amazing experience. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay.
