KI Dragonfly Guesthouse is a privately owned and hosted guesthouse located in Kingscote on Kangaroo Island. Free parking, WiFi and luggage storage is included. Susie and Bruno welcomed us warmly and we had a nice chat. Really helpful with organising our trip around Kangaroo Island. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy.

Friendly hosts, spacious accommodation and very comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything one would need for self-catering. There was a washing machine and dryer which was an added bonus. When we first saw Wedgetaildown on-line it seemed too good to be true! Well, it is real, and it is magnificent. Few places have such a lasting affect as this. Dear Betty and Peter, the perfect hosts, with friendliness, helpfulness and kindness in abundance. From the home baked bread, to wine, and chocolate gifts, and simply their lovely conversation. Their vision, and the work they do here for wildlife and nature, and for its future, is awesome. Thank you. The accommodation is just wonderful. So much thought and detail has gone into it, to make it the perfect stay. Whilst you are remote, there are all the modern comforts of home and more, with the bonus of real nature outside. Say hello to the Kangaroos every morning and evening, as you sit outside absorbing the raw beauty of this place and the glorious sunrises and sunsets. Not forgetting the Goannas, Koalas, and abundant birdlife Centrally located on the island which makes it very good for visiting the rest of glorious Kangaroo Island. The night sky is simply breath-taking. Staying here, was a privilege, and one we will never forget.

Set overlooking the beautiful Pelican Lagoon, this holiday home features open-plan living across five split levels. Made of stone and recycled timbers there are sea views from every room. A well designed house which kept temperature stable day and night. Beautiful views / sunsets and tranquil setting.

Wanderers Rest on Kangaroo Island is a small seaside guest house. The beautiful venue has come into new management, a small family run business. The location is beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable and had a wonderful view. We had dinner in our room. Excellent food and Nico owner and chef offered this service despite having an evening where he was serving a 7 course meal to a full restaurant. The breakfast was also excellent and was included in the room price. Lots of delicious homemade produce and fresh food. Would not hesitate to recommend this place. It is a family run business and they could not do more to make us welcome or to advise on places to visit and eat on the island. Hope to come again.
