Our stay at The Table Guest house exceeded expectations. Jo was as welcoming as a dear friend. The property felt as if you had stepped into a rural French countryside cottage. It was immaculately clean and well decorated. Meals were unbelievably well prepared with fresh herbs and vegetables, creative dishes, and the most fresh breads. The location was convenient to all attractions in the Hunter valley. Jo had suggestions for wineries we may not have otherwise visited. All dogs and persons who visited the property were friendly and well behaved. We cannot express our gratitude enough for a rejuvenating weekend.

Located in Pokolbin, the renovated Spicers Guesthouse offers an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. Éremo Restaurant, with its modern Italian cuisine is a centerpiece of the retreat. A beautiful room with everything we needed! Staff we lovely, warm and welcoming.

Friendly welcome by Kerrie, who rang us that our room was ready earlier than first advised and then showed us around and explained the facilities. Good size beautiful room, nice and cool when we arrived as the "heath was on" on that day, comfortable bed, excellent shared area, coffee machine/tea making facilities with plenty of choice. Port and chocolates available in the sitting room, which is beautiful and comfortable. Water and nibbles in the room. Cooked breakfast on the terrace, served by two lovely young ladies. Everything was perfect.

The whole stay was delightful. We loved the self contained aspect, the setting, the cleanliness. Being able to have our dog was an absolute bonus. The quietness of the neighbourhood. The sprawling, immaculately kept front yards and all the neighbourhood dogs beautifully contained. Even the red chicken who kept escaping added to our delight. Thank you for a beautiful space to stay.
