Calm, quiet, excellent pool and brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was to die for - Loads of different continental options with regional products. The Quinta is situated close to Castelo de Vide e Marvão which are lovely places to visit, however is in a remote enough location for it to feel like a break from a busy life.

Amazing 1926? building and stay at a now inactive building that is part of the closed Train Station next door. It looks like the Train Station but the ground floor has a large room with a fireplace that was used as a cafeteria eating area. No trains run on the railroad tracks and the location is very quiet day or night. The old kitchen where you make your own breakfast with owner-supplied bread, eggs, etc. has a fantastic original cast-iron range stove and huge marble sink. The entire ground floor is original. The second floor has upgraded bedrooms and bathrooms. Great exterior like Train Station with original Portuguese hand painted blue/white tiles. Hotel-recommended, nearby restaurants are excellent. The man and his sister who manage the hotel are friendly and very helpful. They are great hosts.

The owner! She was fabulous. Just delightful. She obviously loves what she does. Very helpful and accommodating. She made an amazing breakfast with endless variety, much of it homemade. Ample, easy on site parking. I can't recommend this place more. Castelo de Vide is a wonderful town, too.

Todo. Super limpio, caliente, cómodo, se aparca a la puerta. Las sábanas son súper suaves y las toallas una delicia de suaves. Ponen amenities (gorro de baño, toallitas desmaquillantes, cepillo dientes y pasta de esa pequeñita) tienen mini frigo con congelador!! . El desayuno espectacular, para leones, te hace el señor migas, huevos fritos, jamón serrano super rico, pan y aceite, café y zumo de naranja natural. Casi reventamos. Como veis todo muy bien pero lo mejor, de verdad, es el señor que lo lleva que es tan amable, educado, servicial, simpático que da gusto y la señora de la recepción igual de maja. Y luego el hotel tiene piscina exterior pequeña, restaurante y muchas flores. Y el precio, super barato

We loved the location which was 3 minutes from the castle and close to most sites. The property was well equipped with kitchen supplies; ventilation- air and heat; comfortable furnishings -and nice decor. Paula was very responsive and communicative- checking in on a regular basis and Luisa did a great job helping us park and orienting us to the property. We also appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine.

Upon arrival, we were very well received by staff, which came to greet us immediately when we were exiting the car. The location is in a rural area, incredibly quiet and beautiful. Perfect for nature lovers, and/or anyone who is looking for a relaxed stay. The apartment itself is very clean and cosy, with all the amenities you could possibly need, even for a longer stay. In the kitchen area, there is cookware, cutlery, cooktop, and several other appliances. The host also left for us some food and drink, which was very pleasant to see upon arrival. In terms of temperature control, there was AC, heaters, a ceiling fan, and a fireplace(with wood ready to use and firelighters), so you can be comfortable in any season(hot or cold). The breakfast is included in the stay, and in the morning you get fresh baked bread delivered at the door, that you can eat accompanied by other food they leave for you in the refrigerator. I was so pleased with this stay, that before I left I made a reservation for another weekend. This is definitely one of the best accomodations in the area.
