Beautiful apartment with everything you need for a short or long stay. Very clean and modern. Like any city location the noise may be a concern. We always bring ear plugs and slept well. The location is excellent! Parking at the Mercado was perfect. We always bring g a carry on just in case we cannot comfortably navigate stairs with larger suitcases. We were on the 4th floor so having small carry on to Replenish daily was important. At the Mercado parking lot we learned you can stay as long as needed for a small fee. Ask the attendant at the studio for details about a “lost ticket” when exiting the parking lot.

Pharmacia guesthouse is so much more than a guesthouse! Everything was perfect from the beautiful stair and halls to the exquisite room, the roof terrace on the fifth floor with an excellent view over the city. Impeccable cleanliness, spacious room, perfect firmness on the mattress, the pillows, the view over the street, the bathroom, the towels, all the little details and, not to forget, the personable owner. There is an elevator, though I would gladly take those beautiful wood stairs.

The room is absolutely amazing! Extremely clean, spacious, modern, comfort, very good heating. Complementary espresso and water bottles were a great touch. Loved it!

Really great staff, specially Cristina! She is super kind and helped us getting a better room, cause my mom needed it to be more accessible. She had to make all the "tetris" with the other guests reservations to make it possible! thanks!!

Perfect location in the centre of town.Beautifully restored house with everything taken care of.Jonah a wonderful host, attention has been paid to every minute detail.Breakfast was excellent .A very enjoyable experience, will definitely only stay there when visiting Coimbra next

Awesome location (near the center and with a nice view over the river), the building was really impressive (you really felt like in a museum - in a positive way) and most importantly our hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly! Overall, we had a really great stay in Coimbra!
