Very nice, well equipped room with balcony, in the small kitchenette we had everything what we needed for our short stay. Didnt have chance to say good bye and big thank you, as we were leaving pretty early, but definetely we will come back! Thank you!

The bed was soooo comfortable. I slept well, like on clouds. The room was very bright and inviting. The room was near the dunes, where I did my exercises. That was fun!

I loved the location close to train and main strip of shops/restaurants but ‘far enough’ away to feel more secluded. (Everything 5-10min walk) The fact I had my own private bathroom to use while there was a bonus. It was very nice how you were able to have a sink in my room as well. Nice when getting ready! The decor was adorable. Wanted to see North Sea and be close to Keukenhof so worked out!

Felt like home from home, and had everything we could think of you would need in terms of utensils and implements for cooking. Excellent advice on what to do and how to do it in the area and the host was extremely helpful, but not intrusive. Given that it’s a city centre location it was quiet in the evening and early morning. Happy to agree that it is the coolest apartment in Haarlem!

Good communication from host. We were able to check in early and could have left our bags there after check out if needed. Haarlem is gorgeous and in our opinion , as a couple in our early sixties, more beautiful and quiet than Amsterdam.

The staff are so friendly and they / the owner obviously take great pride in the hostel, it is a charming and well kept space. If most hostels were like this I'd stay in one every time. So pleased we stayed in Haarlem and not Amsterdam. You can easily visit Amsterdam for the museums etc., but in Haarlem you have the best of it without the tourist crowds.NeilYoung couple

The apartment is exactly like in the pictures, with everything that you need to make you feel at home. Besides, the cinema setup downstairs made our Saturday night extra special! However, the communication with them during our stay was the highlight of the trip. Not only they were super friendly but also told us where to find the hidden gems in the city.
