Nicely decorated place and room. Breakfast in the morning was cooked by nice staff. Close to a bus terminal, so there were no problems (e.g. to get to the national park) with public transport either.

Best part is James himself. I would love to get back here again. Very hospitable The location is great too. Just a couple of blocks walk to the intercity bus terminal. The room was cozy.

It was only a short visit for me as I was visiting the national park (great location to do so) the owner was so helpful and gave me step by step how to get there. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a quiet relaxing get away and had everything you need. The owner even went above and beyond - I had to get a bus early the next morning back to Seoul and the owner kindly drove me to the station. Highly reccomend staying here! Overall great experience

The host ist really kind and helpful and speaks English well. The location of the guesthouse is between the city and Seoraksan National Park but in a quiet rural area. The next bus stop is in walking distance. I really liked the room and the view from the balcony. Breakfast was great and brought to the room. She was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had and made sure we were taken care of. The guesthouse is in a great location for restaurants and having the bus stop opposite makes it easy to get to the national park and other areas.

Great location, about an hour walk to the entrance of the park or 10 min bus/taxi. The bus takes a while to get to sokcho but we got taxis that were cheap (about 18k won). There's a couple of shops and restaurants around but more variety in sokcho
