If you’re a social person and want to make friends while staying in Tokyo, this is the spot. I’m so happy I chose to stay here. Makoto-san (along with his staff) was a wonderful host, kind, friendly, and helpful. He organized a lot of fun social gatherings, and created a very welcoming social environment. The guesthouse is kept clean, and everyone is respectful about helping keep it that was.

The house structure is interesting (in a good way) We got all the amenities like in the hotels. Everything is clean. We had our first experience on Tatami flooring & how to lay a futon. Unlike other self check-in home stay, Kazuki-san is very friendly that he greeted us himself and we had a small chat which I feel warmly welcomed.

He was very helpful and knowledgeable for someone who has never travelled to Japan (or anywhere out of Australia for that matter!) made my first overseas hostel a great experience. His English is great too! The other guests were also kind and easy to spend time with in the communal area, I think this place attracts nice people haha

Hisayo is a wonderful host! She made me feel so so welcome! She was lovely to talk to and could tell you a lot about this to do in the are. She has a lot of humor, I had a wonderful time! Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and didn't squeak at all. On my next journey to Japan I will certainly visit her again! またね❣️
