Unique location, right next to Montfrague NP. What a view, what a garden! What a breakfast. Dinner outside on the terrace, and for me, all vegetarian dishes. Carmen is a treasure! And birdwatching start right there and then.

Good well marked walks from the palacio. Garden to sit in. Charming and hard working hosts running a working farm with sheep, pigs, geese, etc. High quality home cooking, often with own farm produce. Very comfortable and very clean. A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay. We loved hearing the dawn chorus and watching the resident swallows.

This authentic hotel is located at the border of the Monfragüe National Park in Cáceres. The scenery is awesome, also at night (no light pollution at all).
