Let me start with the conclusion: The place is very nice. Elena is an excellent host. You will feel at home away from home. The place is very beautifully decorated, charming, very clean and just a walk away from the center of Potes. The room was spacious, very comfortable with nice views I travel quiet a lot for work and the breakfast at villa Elena is better than any industrial 5stars. The perfect breakfast to start the day. We had a wonderful stay at the Hosteria. We had a large room with a sitting area and a little refrigerator which was nice. Amazing view from the room. Nice big breakfast. For us the location was perfect as we wanted to hike the Ruta del Cares from Cain, up to Bulnes and Fuente De. Potes is a great town centrally located between all three hikes, which were all spectacular. The owners were so helpful. They also run an adventure tour business next door and can help with shuttles or 4 wheel drive tours.

The location is superb. Right in the heart of the best part of the town, 10 seconds walk to bars, shops et cetera. Nice view from the room over the old Bridge. I was on a motorbike and the parking was great, although it’s not private but seems very safe.
