We really enjoyed our stay at Pensión Casa Elena, the room was clean, with comfy beds and the garden was amazing. We enjoyed making friends with the 2 resident geese, but the best part of staying here was the staff - they went out of our way to ensure we felt accommodated and comfortable. Even going as far as to give us some cheese to go with our (otherwise lacklustre) picnic that we had assembled - They ensured that they did everything to allow us to have the best possible experience staying with them.

We stayed in the “Deluxe Queen Room” on site. It is in a different building but attached to the Albergue. You get the best of both worlds with a very nice, clean, private room expected from a hotel and awesome camaraderie and amazing food (cooked by the hosts for a small price) above and beyond the average albergue.
