kind helpfull staff, even though i asked many questions and had many concerns, the hostess Shakilla was very helpful with a smile on her face, also she has great english language, the kitchen is great (there is stove, pots, spices, coffee etc) and the greatest thing they have laundry service for 15£ for all your clothes!

It's a place where you can disconnect. Great in combination with a hiking trip. Affordable for 1 person. Nice and friendly staff. There is an antique quirkiness about the place: you are encouraged to wear wool slippers that they provide, urinals and faucets are new but old school (you need to turn handles not just lift). Close to many hiking trails and you can explore the Rigi area if based here.

The accommodation was decadent with a beautiful balcony that you could sit and watch the surrounding lake and mountains until the stars glittered above. The room was glorious, the restaurant was amazing and the walks from the hotel just perfect.
