We came with our family to Smolyan to visit my wife's sister and the location worked well for us, although it is not in the center of the city. The host was very friendly and we enjoyed the comfort of the room and the breakfast served. We also had dinner one night and enjoyed the typical Rhodesian cuisine.

Elena is an amazing host and her house is very beautiful, traditional old Bulgarian style. Elena was very hospitable and gave us very good recommendations. She made sweet gestures like leaving sweets, cherries and home made bakery for us. When we were leaving she came to say goodbye personally and gave us tea as a present.

Excellent and clean house. Hostess is a very pleasant lady. She was all smiles and gave us very useful tips on what to visit and restaurants to eat. I'd absolutely recommend this guest house and its owners! Would visit again without a second thought.

We arrived late at night with a last minute booking and the hosts were very accommodating. They are an elderly Bulgarian couple and are very sweet and helpful. We ended up with a whole apartment to ourselves with a big kitchen. There's a lovely balcony with view. The area is residential and there was parking on the street outside.
