Felt like a we were like old friends, so welcoming. It is nestled in a secluded mountain area backing a national forest, very quiet and peaceful. Loved being able to cook our own breakfast (as we had to leave early) and there was more than enough available and good variety. Quaint period style, which we loved and so comfortable. Large spa helped wash away the days travels and eased our weary bodies. Lovely rambling garden.

The location is handy (an easy walk to Springwood station and town centre) and very quiet, despite being on the highway/railway line. The bedroom and bathroom were nicely appointed, and the adjacent kitchen well equipped. I was very appreciative of the provision of a portable air-conditioner given the extreme hot weather on one of the days. I was also grateful for the flexibility afforded on checking out.
