Centrally located in Sao Miguel Island, this property is set in the quiet area of Vila Franca do Campo. The location was perfect! The accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I was a little worried about the beds after reading a couple of comments but I have no complaints and slept brilliantly on mine, it was lovely and comfy. Accommodation was lovely and clean, and the mid-stay clean was an added bonus we weren't expecting. The sea pool was great, even if you don't fancy a dip it was a great spot to sit and watch the waves, our children were fascinated with the fish in it. We felt this was the perfect base for our stay in Sao Miguel, we'd love to go back for another visit.

The Convento de São Francisco is a built in a 17th century Franciscan convent. The fact that it was an old convent added charm to the property. The was it has been re-organized with a pool and amenities is amazing… The staff were always smiling and offered great advice and support.
