A bit out of Stresa so you def need a car but there is ample parking. Lovely to have a cat on the premises, too! Really would recommend.

I slept very well here and didn't want to leave at the end of our stay. Lovely, modern room, really yummy, locally sourced products for breakfast, location was very peaceful - we were just happy to sit in the garden and read, surrounded by the forest. Francesca is very friendly and has a very interesting other business. You need your own transport to get here really - around a 7 min drive into Arona but we did find pretty easily free parking in the centre. 3 nights we stayed and 3 nights we ate very well in Arona at Anticogallo, Contatto and La Ruga del corso. Definitely take the boat to Stresa - finding a parking was a nightmare!

There are about 60 steep curves from Verbania until one reaches the top of Monterosso where the hotel is. But once you overcome those obstacles, you have the most beautiful view over Lago Maggiore (including Isola Bella), excellent home-made meals from local ingredients and relaxing atmosphere.

The view of Lago Maggiore was amazing. The food was some of the best I had in Italy during out stay. There were lots of great hiking trails nearby. The staff was friendly and their pets were adorable.

Cascina Campaccio asub Ticino looduspargis Tainos, Maggiore järve kaldast 5-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel. Selles maalähedases stiilis majas on hubane kaminaga puhkeruum. This b&b was nicely decorated, very clean and staff was very pleasant. It was a bonus to have a sauna in the room.
