De koeien lopen om het huisje heen. We mochten met de eigenaar mee om de koeien te borstelen. Al met al een super ervaring voor 2 nachten.

Super welcome and service. Lovely cottage with everything needed and more. Terrific breakfast with fresh bread, home made jam, fresh eggs. Good location close to Richmond village and good base for day tripping. A delightful haven to return to at the end of a day of adventures. We three Kiwis highly recommend.

Our family of four (kids 10 and 8) had a FANTASTIC time at Elvenhome Farm. We only stayed 2 nights but wanted to stay longer. (The cottage was booked or we would have adjusted our trip to stay longer.) Graham and Kathleen are lovely hosts and have created an amazing space for a relaxing holiday. The cottage is spacious, bright, clean, well-appointed, and cozy. (The bed was so comfortable!!) Their farm is lovey. Our kids picked veggies and fruit with Kathleen, and they helped feed the chickens and sheep as well. They offer classes on the theme of sustainable living, so check their website as well. (I didn't do that before our visit but I wish I had.) The rural location is a perfect, but do take note that you're about a 20 min drive from Deloraine, so stock up on groceries before you head out to the farm. Also note that you will be close to the Van Diemens Land creamery!! (So good!)

Mount Rumney Escapes - 1h Haven Horse House bevindt zich in Mount Rumney, op slechts 13 km van Theatre Royal, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de zee. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen including a gas stove and a full size refrigerator. It’s clean, extremely comfortable and super quiet. Wi-Fi was banging! the views from Mt Rumney are spectacular. Now having said all of that remember that you are staying on a farm. There are animals and all the stuff needed to take care of them so you may see a pile of fencing material or farm equipment. I’ve stayed in cottages in the middle of vineyards that weren’t half as comfortable, welcoming and worth the value as this property. I arrived early and the host welcomed me with no issues. If you want a great place to stay without all the fru-fru I would highly recommend this property.

Cherry Top Farmstay - Boutique Eco Village ligt in Lilydale, op 26 km van Launceston Tramway Museum, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. A comfortable home away from home in stunning surroundings. Welcoming hosts and everything you need catered for. I am a return visitor because I haven't found better and the value is amazing.
