We enjoyed our stay at Casa da Azenha a lot and we highly recommend the place if you’re planning a getaway in the Douro region. The property is amazing: a beautiful garden (those flowers!!!), lovely swimming pool area, beautiful setting… We stayed in the Isabel suit and had our own little house with a private outside sitting area. Maria, the host of Casa da Azenha, is a wonderful person: very helpful and caring and she makes sure you have everything you need for the perfect stay. She made our stay even better! In fact, everyone at the property is very welcoming, it feels like a home away from home.

Quinta de Santa Julia is an enchanting place. A fairytale forest greets you and opens up to the most exceptional view of the Douro valley. The 17th century villa, breathtaking views, and amazing infinity pool are not to be missed. Eduardo was charming and generous, the family history, tour, and port was an unforgettable experience. There’s no place like this in the world!

Absolutely fantastic! Room was perfect. The natural beauty is incredible. Breakfast was one of the best in Europe that I ever had. It would be impossible for us to stay in a different place in Regua next time. I highly recommend this place to all prospective tourists.

everything! It’s a very beautiful and big property. The rooms are great, nice kitchen and comfortable living room. It has everything you could ever need. My favorite part was sitting by the vineyards and watching the sunset.
