Built back in 1799, the hotel represents a unique mixture of classic English/ colonial style with contemporary elements. It is so well kept up, that you can’t believe it is actually so old. With a huge garden area, river, antique fountain, it is proud to keep around a dozen of Sulcata tortoises that gaze around enjoying the sun. You can also see squirrels playing very close. All hotel staff is well trained and very polite. Highly recommended for a stay in warm months

Overall the place exceeded my expectations. And I want to give a particular heads up to Paul, who during the check in knew that my flight was late, so he checked if the room was going to be occupied the day of my checkout, and since it wasn't the case, allowed me to check out a little bit later. I really appreciate the support and the orientation from him and Sheryl, would love to stay here next time that I'm in Cape Town

Situé dans le quartier chic de Newlands, au Cap, le Fernwood Manor Boutique Guest House occupe une élégante retraite coloniale, nichée sur les flancs de la montagne de la Table. Wonderful guest house, stayed in the main villa, bedroom was huge, bathroom fantastic and a very large patio/balcony outside the French windows. So much cupboard and drawer space too. Breakfast was superb. Very attentive staff only too happy to make our stay memorable. Location was convenient, near the Botanical gardens and close to Constantia Mall. About 15 mins taxi from the Watefront area. We got there really early and no issue allowing us an early check in. Top notch and highly recommended. There is a pool too but we didn't have time to try it.

The Riversong Guest House just feels like a home rather than an accommodation. From arrival to leaving everyone made sure I had everything I needed. The room is very spacious and the garden just beautiful. There was not one thing I did not like

The perfect stay to come and go with privacy, security and comforts of everything I needed for my trip. Central and easy to get around, close to all amenties. Hosts were professional and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Accomodation was modern comfortabel and clean. Would stay again and recommend to others.
