Amazing hotel with polite and corteous staff. Excellent accomodations and amenities, enjoyed the botomless coffee machines available at each floor nearby the rooms. The breakfast is another high point of the hotel: lots of options (ranging from the usual cereal-and-coffee options to fruits, salads and hot dishes like scrambled eggs, sausages and beans). The views of the rooms and the restaurant are breathtaking, you have breakfast looking at the mountains or the harbour, your choice. In addition, it is just accross the street from the Convention Centre, which was great to get to the events on time. Great value for money.

Perfect peaceful location, only a short walk to the convention centre and the waterfront. The dinner at the restaurant was excellent! and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was security at the entrance and around the hotel 24/7 and we felt very safe.

Set in the Cape Town Foreshore, 180 metres from the CTICC and 1.8 km from vibrant Long Street, The Onyx features accommodation with free WiFi and a terrace. The breakfast at the hotel was also really good, with a varied selection. Would definitely stay here again!
