We were in many places but we never met so lovely hosts until now. We wanna go back! Thanks for everything ❤️

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Sahari Zanzibar in Bwejuu is situated on a white, sandy beach. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The location and view to the beach was amazing. At low tide the water is pretty inaccessible, but that's the case throughout most of this part of Zanzibar. The food at the hotel was really nice. A bit pricey in my opinion, but I enjoyed being able to rely on a yummy meal without traipsing out alone at night. I returned to Zanzibar to spend a week relaxing before continuing my journey. This was the perfect place to do it. There's not much around the hotel and the walk to more restaurants and whatnot is about 20 minutes, but it's a lovely walk. The bed was comfortable. Very nice. They were helpful arranging tours etc. The only hiccup came when I booked my own taxi for the return to the airport at my departure. This seemed to cause quite a stir. At the last minute my driver was changed then about 10 minutes into my ride (at 4:30am in the pitch dark) the taxi arranged by the hotel stopped on the side of the road and insisted that I move to a smaller taxi that was waiting there for me. It was not the end of the world, but seemed to be the result of a territorial position by the hotel. I could be wrong. The room was really lovely, quiet with reliable A/C. Unfortunately the hot water and the internet were not quite as reliable. I had planned to work while there but it was not always possible to hold video calls. Having lived in East Africa though I know this is not in the hands of the hotel. The stay was really really lovely. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again if I find myself in Zanzibar again.

What a wonderful hotel, with an amazing staff and owner who bent over backwards to make sure it was a honeymoon of a lifetime. Tried another resort but it just didn’t compare and returned to Mayai! Great food, great people, great location.

The property has been really nicely set-up with little areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful lush setting. The room I was in had its own lovely balcony and was beautifully set-up and very well kept. Featuring a private beach area and views of sea, RoRi Private Luxury Villas is a recently renovated villa located in Bwejuu, a few steps from Bwejuu Beach. We liked the cleanliness and layout of this large and well appointed villa. It was comfortable for two couples. There is plenty of room both inside and outside to relax and spread out. The host Rodrigo was responsive and friendly and willing to accommodate our late checkout request. The pool was refreshing and the breakfasts were excellent. You can walk the beach for miles. The villa was private and easy walking distance to restaurants. Good references for taxis and tours. There is a nearby small store to change money.
