We enjoyed the warm welcome at the front desk and by the concierge. Everyone working in the hotel is highly professional and very friendly. We felt taken care of by superb hosts in a wonderful environment, the gardens are just marvelous and the house radiates a warm coziness.

Orquidea opens out on to an extra-large roof-top terrace, overlooking Funchal and the Atlantic Ocean. It was a very nice stay, nothing to complain about. Big room, good location and fine breakfast.

The view is great ..staff and reception were very friendly and helpful...many thanks to Fabiana at the reception and Ruben at the restaurant..

An absolutely beautiful hotel that feels very luxurious. The rooms are huge, most have a balcony overlooking the incredible tropical gardens or the bar area - but there is never any noise. Very peaceful. The staff are just fantastic - so friendly and genuinely nice. Breakkfast is great - both cooked and buffet

Set in a historic building of central Funchal, Monte Carlo features a large elevated terrace and roof-top pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It is located only 800 metres from the Funchal Marina. I love the service! The girls on desk is lovely. One is from madeira… the others is from Colombia! Amazing service! The last guy I don’t like the style is not friendly

Great location easy to get in and out of with parking on site. Quiet street to be able to rest after long days of hiking. Nice terrace to relax with a book.

Very nice apartment, well equipped and clean. Location was also good as everything important is within walking distance.
